It gets better and better
Carillion went bust after unwise distribution of funding, leaving several large projects unfinished. That is bad enough!
One of their projects left unfinished in the Midlands is to receive £300 million of public funding to complete it! That is not good at all!
The accountants employed to deal with the insolvency of Carillion have been working on the project for just eight weeks and so far their bill is £20.4 million, which equates to a staggering £1,156 per hour?? Now surely someone is having a laugh, aren't they?
