Spent the entire morning cleaning a car.

    Now it's DAZZLING!

One needs sunglasses to view the paintwork.

    Bike Week

Had hoped to celebrate #Bike Week this Saturday with a nice ride, sadly instead was tied up waiting for tradesmen. But got a little saddle-time in today Sunday, riding towpath along canal. Chatted with owner of a steam-powered narrowboat, who insisted I take a look at the engine-room. Fascinating machine, but glad to get outside again - it must have been 120degs+ in there!

Btw, still time to participate in 2017's World Naked Bike Ride. Venue: York.

The photo was taken from Hartshead Pike.

In the centre is Oldham Town Centre.
Behind that is Manchester Town Centre.

With the binoculars we could see Snowdonia in the distance.

Later we drove to Dove Stone Reservoir Saddleworth Moor walked all the way around.

    You need glasses.

As landmarks go the tallest building in Manchester is The Beetham Tower.

    Oldham has The Civic Centre.

Bury used to have factory chimney's defining the town centre before the new shopping centre with shops and flats.
