He had wanted to die ever since he was sentenced, so his being force fed and made to live out his years was his punishment. I suspect for a number of reasons that he did not get the sort of treatment he felt entitled to. It is good that he lived as long as he did. I only wish Keith Bennet's parents could have had peace.

I'm saddened that you think that. Was money really the only factor that you are concerned about? I can't gather any other concern of yours, so I'll go with that. How about, he is no longer a threat to any child in society? How about, we have done the decent thing by incarcerating him for the rest of his life? How about? And I would gladly go with this, our taxes have kept him imprisoned until his dying last breath. We are better than him. We are not savages like him, and we have done the right thing. Lock him away from society for the rest of his life. And now he is a corpse, he will be cremated and his ashes scattered secretly. Not for is own dignity, but to prevent sickos trying to make money on the back of all of this.

Any child sex offender who rapes, tortures and before killing that child records that said child's agonizing screams for their Mummy, should have a no mercy policy which should/could be issued by the courts....
Hanged...then the grieving families could have moved on with their lives...
Poor Mother of little Keith went to her grave believing the Brady would divulge the grave site of her little boy.

Perhaps if the death penalty had been introduced at the time that that EVIL piece of SH*T murdered those beautiful little children, it might have been a deterrent to other murdering sex offenders..

My post may come over as harsh and as certain people have put it...no better than him, well wishing a death sentence on a serious murdering sex offender does not make me like him...

I feel deep sorrow for the families of those little victims and I know that had I have been in their shoes I would have wanted him dead..He played mind games with those families all the time he lived...I don't think they deserved that, poor souls.

Its nothing to do with tax payers coffers, its to do with a deterrent to further sexual murders of innocent little children....If they know they are going to receive a death sentence, I believe they will think twice before murdering those little ones...

20 million pounds could have been put to better use than keeping that piece of filth alive and cared for, possibly used to rehabilitate other little kiddies who have been sexual abused...
