My partner had her nails done,and 6 days later had them taken off,as she could'nt cope with the not being able to put up with them,and it has taken almost 3 months for her own nails to get back to how they were before the false nails were applied,because her nails had gone soft,as the glue used had visibly affected the look and shine of her natural nails.How some people wear these artificial nails almost all the time amazes me,after seeing the effect after only 6 days of wearing ? As finger nails do need to have oxygen and natural light,for them to grow properly.I know of someone who changes their false nails regularly,nearly every 2 weeks,and her natural finger nails MUST be absolutely shot at if she looked at them closely.
