    Horse Crap

Just been on Lifeboat Rd car park in Formby to take the mutt for a stroll and what a mess ! The horse muck is everywhere i had to weave the car around it for almost the full length of the parking area .Why don,t these horse owners clean up after they have used the beautiful facility ? It really looks like a stable yard and a very untidy one at that - the new owners the National Trust have got to do something it looks and smells DISGUSTING !If it was dog owners leaving their mess they rightfully would be penalised so whats the difference - apart from the huge amounts the equines drop !!

When I was a girl, horse manure would not remain on the street for more than 5 minutes if that!
People would be vying with each other to get to the prize first!
Within minutes it would be dug into their garden especially round the roses.
As a child I understood that it was a wonderful fertilizer unlike other poo e.g. cats and dogs. This is because horses are herbivorous - they don’t eat meat - nor is it toxic like other forms of poo.

Old-school, are you on Formby Bubble too? There's a thread on there at the moment with people complaining about horse poo, wild rabbits in the road, pheasants walking the street etc, move to a more rural area then complain about rural life while charging down small lanes in 4x4's, makes me laugh every time.

'smells DISGUSTING' - have you led a very sheltered life or do you not get out much and - why on earth did you feel the need to 'weave the car around it' - what did you imagine would happen?

They'll need to carry some big, heavy duty poo-bags.

    LOL..

Old-school, the big difference is dog poo can blind you, where as horse poo just makes your roses grow better. :-) Time to move to the city me thinks.

Squirrels and birds crapping all over the place as well. It's an outrage.

At least, horse manure is not left on public pathways everywhere. Dog push chairs should be made a legal requirement.

No, but I rode a lot as a child around Formby from the stables and down to the beach. Being on one a lot means I neither want to be thrown off one, have the horse rwar and land on an idiot speeding impatient drivers car nor find somewhere to the the horse up while I get the pitchfork out.

Here's a thought. Could a horsey be trained to poop in a commode? If so, I have JUST what you need!

Don't bite bambi - this is one of the silliest posts for a good while - I'm an old cavalryman and know all too well, as I suspect the poster does, just how innocuous horse muck is.
