My wife loves it, she always does a little dance around the lounge (with herself) to the music when it comes on.
Of course myself I will be sat in the study with smoking jacket and pipe reading Chaucer

Like BGT the ethos on inclusion is a positive public show.
I applaud it and Simon Cowell.
Is this also a tongue in cheek post ?

Definitely not.
I find the subject of fame a bit crass-certainly could not stand up in front
of an audience and judge to display a talent even if I had one.
It still can be tedious at times.
I watch more to see the thrill when a beautiful voice comes out of a person who looks the opposite of a film star or a person is given the chance of a lifetime to pick up a career.
Simon Cowell is without prejudice and a good influence and role model
on a the business.
It might be a crass show and dirty business to some though its format popularity is a good platform for a positive influence on equality.
Neither are contestants included on quota's for ethnicity.
Take note of that Labour!
I still dislike Strictly with a passion.

Just shows how people can watch something and derive different perceptions.
That's why I asked if your comments were tongue in cheek.

True!
I guess people look at programmes differently if they watch due to partner's choice.
Mr Hamble has been to quite a few audience invitation's at Media City Salford and met celeb figures.
I went to one years ago.
Very nice as a one off thank you but not my scene.
