Ginger haired beggar on Chapel Street
There was a ginger haired beggar sitting on Chapel Street today, outside of Poundworld.
He got up and went straight down to the Coral bookies on the corner of Eastbank Street. He was in there for a little while before he reappeared begging on the street again outside Poundworld.
So don't go giving this guy money as he will just spend it at the bookies !!

I get really annoyed with him.Customers buy him things and then he comes in the shop to get a refund,he gets moved on and then reappears,

He's a vile little s**t. Along with his mates. Homeless my backside. A total waste of oxygen.
I saw him and another of his kind the other day. They were glaring at a street musician as obviously he was earning his donations, unlike the scum they are. I seriously thought they were going to attack the guitarist opposite them.
I also noticed there is a 'gangmaster' type who gets very slappy if he sees someone who isn't part of his team in a choice begging area - in this case outside Poundworld. He moved quite a few beggars on, as they were obviously terrified of him. Then replaced them with his own team.
There are quite a few teams working the town. Woman in her 30s, working with two men standing a way from her. Always needs to 'get home'. And two worth watching are a couple of middle aged women, one white with bright ginger hair, one black, both short. They stand very close to people in shops, always very interested in whatever you are looking at, sometimes striking up a conversation. I assume that they are either getting close enough to pick a pocket or close enough to skim contactless credit cards. Seen them in Poundworld, M&S and B&M.
I reckon about 1 in 10 are actually on the streets. If I want to give to the homeless, I'll give to any of the dozens of charities in place to help genuine unfortunate souls.
