That really has lost me, I have a sneeking suspicion that very few young men are walking around the streets of Hackney or Kirkby carrying £200 Japanese cooks knives.

The photographs of those knives are not the ones generally being used on the streets, not by the kids anyway. The kids use knives -generally - that are easy to carry in a pocket and quick and easy to use. Larger knives are not easy to draw out and are uncomfortable to carry in tracksuit trousers.

There are many made in Germany and the USA, probably in China and Japan.

That and the published photos of the knives confiscated by the Police. The same was said about 'Violence' and it was claimed that violent video games were responsible some while ago - since when it has been realised that some people are just violent.

Violent films and glorifying torture and murder have more to answer for than games.

I was a great fan of True Crime Stories for many years, but gave up reading them when it was obvious that violent crime that happened in real life is far more sick than fiction stories. Meaning that if fiction stories are used for filming, those films are nothing to what is really happening on the streets!

That's THREE threads where you have posted something that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Are you alright or just celebrating too enthusiastically.
