Football transfers
Liverpool are under investigation by the premier league for "tapping up " a player they want to buy .
Nothing new in that as 95% of players are tapped up , illegal approaches are common place , the only difference in this case is a club has been caught doing it .

Somebody from Liverpool claiming victimhood. That's a new concept.

Any facts to back this up?
If it's so commonplace how have Liverpool been caught out?
After all if it goes undetected 95% of the time it must be pretty easy to do.

On top of the 2 year ban they've received for tapping up kids for the Academy.

Firstly , a club cannot approach a player until a fee has been agreed between "both" clubs . But look at Real Madrid for example and the way they have constantly shown interest in Dehea. Remember Arsenal and the way the tried to turn Suarez's head .
What Liverpool did is wrong and they should punished as they have re the running of thier youth Academy .
Everyone knows tapping up goes on . Such as a Word with a journalist by a club , that is tapping up .

I'm not saying it doesn't go on. But can you back up your statement that 95% of players are tapped up?

Arsenal actually offered £40,000,001 to Liverpool.
That's not tapping :-)

That was after they'd been tapping for weeks, in an effort to cover their backs.
Just be yourself, no one else is better qualified!!

You beat me to it, they triggered the release clause by offering Liverpool a pound more than the figure in his contract.

I repeat, "after they'd been tapping up for weeks" It's common practice, every club does it.
