Also heard that, we seem to be getting business done early for once.
Liverpool Echo also reporting that The Spain U-21 striker Sandro Ramirez is due to finalise his move to Goodson later today, been watching him in the U-21 tournament at the moment, quite like what I've seen of him so far.

Had to laugh when Aldridge was described in the paper as "Liverpool Legend" it sticks in my throat to say this but he was never a Rush or Dalglish who could be described that way. (puts on hair shirt and whips self with barbed wire).

Agree he was never that good , Kenny was World class as was Rushy . Robbie Fowler was also a very good striker . Aldo was no where near those three . Oh for just one other of those three .

Yep it's seems a transfer request has been made , the players have the power . I'll be sorry to see him go but if they want out no one can prevent them moving .

The club’s definitive stance is that no offers for Philippe will be considered.
Yeah right, so if Barca offered say 200 million it wouldn't be considered, what absolute liars, typical of LFC. Also stated they are not a selling club, tell that to Torres, Sterling, Suarez et al, if a player wants to go its Bye Bye, as for Coutinho, he can play in a dump with Milner & Henderson or in Barcelona with Suarez & Messi, its a difficult choice for him to make....NOT.

Players should be made to honour contracts, if they want out they should be made to sit out the remainder of the contract without pay, then they would find out their true worth.

Contracts work both ways, by giving a player a long term contract the club maximises the potential transfer fee should the player move on.
If the player is on 12 months (like Barkley) the are unlikely to get "market" value as they could move on a "free" when out of contract and the club receives nothing.
Now, loyalty bonuses for players who request a move ? Perhaps these bonuses should be paid at the end of the season and if a transfer request is made they forfeit their right to payment
