The snow is not the problem - it is what it turns into that is unpleasant. Either a dirty much of melting ice or solidified ice - Uggh!

Where we live the problem is access into Bury from the surrounding towns.*snowlog*.
Schools have to close.
Medical appointments cancelled.
I agree though re the slush after-horrible.

It did snow in Southport on Friday ............... it lasted about 1 minute before turning to rain !

It looks lovely, Hamble. You have a beautiful view from the top of your house.
Needless to say, we've had snow... and a lot more to come! We had a sprinkle at the end of October, it only lasted for a day. First pic of the deck was taken then. T'other one is the same view this morning.
