Farmer Ted's looks good, lots involved, I don't know the cost though. Martin Mere is also advertising a leggo thing - The Round table Wayfarer's arcade grotto at the weekends from 11am - 4pm. Formby - Santa’s Enchanted Forest is at Shorrocks Hill, Lifeboat Road, Formby is also different and runs from Monday, December 1 until Tuesday, December 23. Then in Liverpool there is always John Lewis's Christmas Grotto.

Galloways, the charity for visually disabled, run the grotto in the St George's Centre in Preston, downstairs near Marks and Spencer. No charge, but they ask for donations to take a photo with Santa - the new link road from the St George's Centre to the ring rd make it a doddle to get out too.
