Good performance by the reds, Blues very disappointing, didn't turn up, Chelsea looked good in spells. Desperately need a striker.

3 tough games in 6 days didn't help, Spurs and Man Utd up next, tough start to the season.

You might need to send Coutinho out on loan to get him some game time

The gap becomes RED as does the top of the table

Do not write off the Blues Everton, Chelsea and Man C off yet as Liverpool have written Arsenal off and then there is Spurs. Early days and it has been posted hard start for Everton. But winning a European Trophy is a priority and in winning one would mean the team would have been good enough to have made a top 4 finish, with Man C and Chelsea and Liverpool

    1 Man Utd 3 10 9
    2 Liverpool 3 5 7
    THE GAP
    3 Hudd'field 3 4 7
    4 Man City 3 3 7
    5 West Brom 3 2 7
    6 Chelsea 3 2 6
    7 Watford 3 2 5
    8 S'ton 3 1 5
    9 Spurs 3 1 4
    10 Burnley 3 0 4
    11 Stoke 3 0 4
    THE GAP
    12 Everton 3 -1 4
    13 Swansea 3 -2 4
    14 Newcastle 3 0 3
    15 Leicester 3 -1 3
    16 Arsenal 3 -4 3
    17 Brighton 3 -4 1
    18 B'mouth 3 -4 0
    19 Crystal P. 3 -6 0
    20 West Ham3 -8 0

Why are they inviting Everton players to view the Anfield trophy room? They haven't got one at Goodison, have they??

    History is the past.

All the trophies won by Merseyside clubs are all in the past.

Neither Everton nor Liverpool have won the Premiership.

We, Everton or Liverpool will never win the premiership on their own merit. Money now talks.

Those days have gone. Everton winning the league on 66 points (2 points for a win ) Arsenal going a season with out defeat. The likes of Nott. Forrest, Derby County winning the European Cup.That is the past.

When Leicester won the Premiership and Wigan won the FA CUP it showed the old being rolled up and the new being rolled out in British football.

    The 200,000,000 player has arrived

Luck now plays a very important part in the game. The luck when you play another team. Thursday, Sunday, Monday games seem to be so controversial with managers complaining. The game has gone the way of American Football with the last 5 minutes being so crucial. Referees adding as much as 9 minutes to a game.A 20 goal a season man becomes a god.

I would rather watch the excitement of the Likes of a
Southport v Man C in the FA Cup

    but that is my opinion

We are moving towards a European League, controlled by TV and money launders.

    Two tier Football

It is a shame that Everton and Liverpool will probably not make that top European Division League

In the mix, but definitely not the icing on the cake.

It will probably 4 teams from England

Man U, Man C, Chelsea, and Arsenal

The likes of Celtic Liverpool may make it with using a wild card system
    or a 2 tier league. Div 1 and 2

the league ONE I bet would have 16 clubs

    Barca
    Byern
    Paris St
    Real
    A. Madrid
    Int,Malan
    AC Milan
    Roma
    B.Dort
    Juventus
    Zenit
    Schalke

As you can see my Super League list has 16, no real space for the likes of Liverpool. A league with more than 16 is hard to run as the travelling distance is great. 16 weekends for league and then that gives time for an international super cup outside of Europe.Football is not like baseball with over a 100 games in a season.

The league can not be made up of the past or Aston V, Ajax, Porto. and Notts Forr. would have to be included

If a two tier league 32 teams Everton may make it as possibly would Newcastle United

International games would just consist of World Cup Matches. spread over 4 or 5 years.

Something to debate while Man U win the Premiership yet again
