At least we managed to do it away from home

Not pretty from the blues, but the unbeaten run continues.

We knew what we were going to get with Sam, but after the start we had to the season we needed stability and to stop shipping goals, seems to be job done in that respect.

Good performance by the reds against the premiership’s basement club, January is almost here, will Barcelona and Real Madrid come calling ?

They may come calling and PC may go but MS is here for a season or two I hope. However I'd really like to see LFC as resolute in their refusal to do business, as they were earlier this year. Like any club, if they keep selling their most influential players, they'll never win anything worth winning.

I hope to see grassroots back soon too.

Good to see you back GR.

Spending the Coutinho money early is a good move, £75M is a bit of a gamble on someone who’s having a pretty average season so far. Rumour has it that Klopp has a couple more targets in mind at St Mary’s.

. Brilliant . But seriously I agree VVD may not be worth 75mil but as always the selling club dictates the price . But what they are asking for thier tea lady is rediculous . and the Yucca , better at Dobbies .

A good signing! But what is any player really worth these days? How much did PSG pay for Neymar? It all seems to be getting seriously out of hand. There's even millions starting to change hands in the lower leagues now.

Plus the fact that once a club knows that another club is desperate for their player or that the other club has money to spare the price doubles.

We saw it last year with the Gylfi saga, we paid over the odds for him because Swansea knew we had the Lukau money.

Yep as I say the selling club has the power . And particularly if the buying club the money or are likely to have the money .
It will now be interesting to see who else Liverpool add to thier squad in January.
Once VVD has settled in I think he'll be a great player for Liverpool . But he needs to form a good understanding with whoever partners him . And of course the keeper whoever that may be .

Can't believe the fuss Mourinho is causing about Liverpool having to pay 75 mil for VVD, he wasnt causing a fuss years ago when Chelsea were paying soft money for players .

Mourhino, as always, is simply trying to deflect attention from his own shortcomings and failure to deliver on his own promises. Pogba runs hot and cold anyway and, how much did he pay for him?
