    No talk about Liverpool

Everton Home games, we class Anfied as a home game.
    2-0 v Liverpool
    4-0 v Hull
    3-0 v West Brom
    3-0 v Southampton
    4-0 v Man City
    6-3 v Bournemouth
    2-0 v Sunderland

    24-3 = 21 points

now this is worth talking about.

It's all a bit quiet, thought it was the derby on Saturday.

    Any predictions?

, love it Nick , but seriously both sides have thier injury problems , I see today that Henderson will be missing for Liverpool and of course Everton are without Coleman after that horrendous tackle , we all wish him a speedy and successful recovery .
I've been invited to a bit of hospitality but haven't yet accepted due to probs at home , hope I can make it though should be a cracker . Will you watch it Nick .

Lallana and Sturridge are out, possibly Lovren.

I'll go for a home win, it's been something like 18 years since Everton won at Anfield, no need to suspect anything extraordinary will happen this time. Maybe they get lucky with a draw...

    4-1 the reds

Uncanny how many games Sturridge misses.

Always a tough game made even tougher by having 5 key players out (3 who would have probably started), Coleman, Schneiderlin, Bolasie, Mori and McCarthy.

The kids did ok, but the goals came from some extremely poor defending and giving the ball away far too easily. Some of the senior players seemed off the pace.

In summary, Liverpool played well in parts and fully deserved their win, Courtino had one of the best games that I have seen him play for quite a while, his goal was top drawer.
Shame about Mane, nothing malicious in the tackle just a tangle of legs and he appeared to twist his ankle and knee.
Lukau was pretty much anonymous, probably a combination of poor service, Liverpool marking him well and he had one of his "lazy" days.
Man Utd on Tuesday, could have Scheiderlin back, hopefully we can bounce back and do you guys a favour.

    end of british football

decided to watch it in the pub,,what an utter bore...,viewing as an ex 70s kopite it was a souless victory, it was watching one bunch of immigrants playing another bunch of dissintersted immigrants...i think that will be the last football match i will ever watch,,,how sad, the local interest and passion has gone, replaced with a mongrel corparate boring event designed to boost the stock market price of various teams only

For me Courtinho's goal was worth the gate fee , but then I had some nice hospitality . Liverpool were the better team overall , but, again they been for years and years .
Everton lacked ideas , class, skill, and here's an interesting stat . Lukaku didn't have an attempt on target , but then he hardly got a kick .
Basic Ly men against boys , tactical awareness, skill, tenacity, and THREE GOAL , good days work .
    Well done boys .
