Extra electrical sockets

Has anyone had an extra electrical socket fitted recently? And if so how much did it cost? Have an old bathroom that were converting and needs a socket adding. Thanks in advance for any help

We converted a downstairs bathroom in to a utility room.
We needed sockets for 3 appliances in a room sans any apart from a dedicated shaver socket.

The Electrician visited to give a quote.

It turned out a big job connecting a modern link to the room from the original old mains system circuit involving a decorator!

Shouldnt be too expensive , depends on the run of cable and where the electrical can pick up a supply , depending on these factors it isn't a big job for a good QAULIFIED ELECTRICIAN.
Your spec will have a bearing on the cost , i.e. , cables in trunking or the wall chased , sockets , surface or flush. Plastic sockets or metal . Think about all these before asking for a quote .

I rather think that you need a professional electrician (with up to date knowledge of the restrictions needed for plugs in a bathroom).

Should've said we're converting the bathroom to a bedroom...no electric an water issues!
