Easy Solution
Since people have moved in their thousands to the South to look for work - London in particular has become totally choked with people, vehicles and pollution.
Surely there is a very simple solution to this - change the Capital city of London to that of Manchester? Is that a good idea?

London would still be choked with vehicles and people.
Unless you're suggesting their jobs also move to Manchester which just uproots millions of people and moves the same problem with them.

We are a very London centric city, and making another city the seat of power and administrative control does have its attractions. However, those capitals which are not major commercial and financial centres, such as Canberra, Ottawa, Washington and Bonn (before they moved it to Berlin) are by all accounts rather dull, sometimes unpleasant places. It doesn't seem to quite work. It might need a republic to work in the UK as well !

After the Revolution we could open up Buck House Homeless Hostel, that would make dent in the homelessness problem in London.

I shan't go to the Capital if it is full of little green men like you.
Besides the revolution in France has not cured homelessness or the rise of the far right.

Difficult to see it happening, think of what was involved in moving the US embassy 2 miles down the road and then multiply the cost, numbers of people and numbers of property transactions and the distance all by a hundred. Also democracy is not just about process, it is also about symbols and institutions. Would we really want the houses of parliament to be replaced with a conference centre, better suited to holding Expo Glazing and Ed Sheeran gigs ?

There are a vast amount of problems around London and the suburbs nearby..
One serious problem is, the lacking of electric stations to boost the electric cars...this form of transport has been encouraged by the mayor of London, but his promises of plenty electric stations are written on ice...
Owners of SUVs are now charged double congestion charges when entering central London including from the outskirts ...
It doesn’t pay to go into London by car anymore...not to mention the parking fees...blimey it’s cheaper to get a taxi both ways.
The tube is packed nearly most hours of the day, and quite honestly, when I travel in such packed and crowded places, I feel totally exposed to terrorism...or getting robbed. I don’t feel safe...

That's a cute idea - but I do not think it would appeal to the tourists!
Why have so called charitable organisations got to have their head offices in London? Surely they should be trying to save money as much as possible? Anyway - it won't be long before Liverpool becomes just as congested with buildings - it will just be lacking the people and traffic - just saying!

I agree with you, although London is where the rich, the media and the politicians are so a lot of charities with "London" Head Offices just have fundraisers, campaigners and a few senior people. It is also the easiest place for people who work out in the sticks to get to.
The charity I worked at in London has over 4000 employees, only about 100 of whom are in Central London with most office jobs done from home or from Wolverhampton. Sue Ryder has a similar split with its offices in Sudbury, Suffolk. I could go on I was at NACRO earlier this week about 15 people, Salvation Army a very small office near London Bridge and at Comic Relief the week before, they have big offices in a cheap bit of London, but they have a lot of media links.

In a similar way that Southport is geographically an outpost of the Sefton region, the further away from London you are, the outta sight outta mind mentality applies.
Similar to the satellite towns of (doing very well )Manchester.
Rochdale has declined.

On the way to Southampton we stayed in a hotel with parking on Epsom Downs.
Just bearable drive from there to drive through central London and out the other side to pick up student children for dinner.
