In a shop today saw one lady with a trolley full of Christmas stuff including toys and games, lights, decorations, crackers and Christmas cards, now that's planning ahead.

Amazes me how Easter Eggs appear but other goods take weeks after Christmas to appear on local shop shelves.
Last year it was Euthymol toothpaste.
This year Marvel.

Not before pancake day and that shelf of ingredients hopeless cooks like me detest for its callous guilt tripping.

Is it just me,or do shops want the years to simply fly by,just for their own personal wanton greed ? Really gets my back up with all the stuff being advertised MONTHS in advance.......Why do they do this ? As customers know what dates Xmas,Valentines Day,Easter, and Haloween etc etc.But these stores are probably getting rid of the overstocked orders,as they have been delivered too soon, and cannot stock them all in their huge warehouses.
PS ; Make sure you check the "Sell by dates" as an example, half the mince pies at xmas were out of date by the end of November ? So half the easter eggs may be as well.
