    Dear Ex Pats....

The forecast is a hot summer.

England have made history in the World Cup.

    Brexit is good to go.

How are things in your part of the World?

While England are doing OK so far they have actually not yet acheived anything substantial
And brexit is looking more and more like an unmitigated disaster for the real working people of this country.

Apart from that things are not too bad, some might say.

UK weather can change while the forecast is being read out.

England are showing very well in the world cup, but there are a few games to go yet.

Brexit is looking like an umitigated shambles with no real decisions made yet, for me personally I wouldn't trust the main Brexiteers to take care of my cat, most certainly not the future of this country.

Fantastic sunset tonight - coastal road was busier than in the day. Small white van passed on the North end of coastal road doing about 100mph - obviously the driver was high or lacking a brain - which means the same thing really.

England had better do well against Belgium, the UK needs that!

Everyone is frustrated with the unnecessary delays over Brexit - need to get shot of the EU very quickly and we do not owe the EU anything - in fact they need to pay the UK a substantial amount of money for almost ruining the country.

    Yep! Fantastic otherwise!

We have already had more summer in one year than we usually get and it is only June.

    Consider the Alternative.

In 2013 Mr Corbyn hailed Venezuela for marching towards the Labour leader's socialist ideals.

The following story will give us an insight to our possible future.

Orwell said "If there is hope, it lies in the proles." Whilst champagne socialists see diversity idealised at university, the common folk experience it first hand in their neighbour hoods.

I'll even pay for his airfare.

Truth hurts, not totally enamoured of Corbyn, but the current shower aren't the answer to anything at all, we have already seen major manufacturers voicing concerns and quite possibly looking to move out of the UK

Of course we know the Tories don't care about manufacturing, this only provides jobs for ordinary people, what they want out of Brexit is a low tax, low wage, minimum public sector, zero employee and workers rights, economy.

I suppose that would be our possible future if our economy was completely reliant on oil. For something a little closer to home, I'd look at the Danish or Norwegian model.

I think if I was going to find the root of an economic crisis, I'd look at something a little more specialised than a 'prepper' site. Not exactly known for their balanced political views.
