Councillor gets his facts wrong

I have just had a phone call informing me that Ainsdale Councillor Terry Jones at last nights Council meeting in front of a reporter accused me (by my id garage-man not by my real name) of being prasnee, cherie brandie and also of being a Councillor. All of that is untrue. Firstly I have ONE id on here and secondly I have no wish to be a local Councillor nor do I belong to or work for ANY political party.
I look forward to hearing why Councillor Jones wishes to make such a statement, who gave him the information and why he chose to do that in a Council chamber and not simply ask one of the sites moderators.

I would respond to that in quoting something that Terry Jones said, making it clear who he is but referring to him as someone else. He would be furious.

Wow! Getting three things totally wrong in one sentence would appear to be a bit of a record even for Terry Jones. His basic problem appears to be that he doesn't seem able to deal with the fact that there are a whole lot more than just one single person out there who are critical of his behaviour. This was the problem of another Ainsdale Tory cheerleader who was banned from the site for abusing female moderators.

Thank you seivad, I don't know how I would have different IP address as I don't access this site from any where but home and I have only changed my suppler twice since I started to use this site.
Any way its good of you to say that as a mod and I hope that clears it up.
I would still like to hear from Councillor Jones though and think its disgraceful to that he wastes council time on such things when he could simply ask you or one of the other mods.

The worst thing Cllr Jones did on Thursday night was in one breath to compare disgraced former Merseytravel Chair Mark Dowd with former Ainsdale Councillor Brenda Porter. The former was pushed to resignation after a secret report detailed how he wasted millions of pounds of taxpayers' money on tramrails, luxury headquarters and secret private solicitors and PR men just for himself. Meanwhile, he packed his own pockets with more public money than any councillor for miles through setting up a web of Merseytravel committees and subcommittees which he chaired himself.

Although far from conservative with public cash, Brenda should not be considered in the same league at all. And I could never conceive of her using a council-provided credit card to pay for holiday trips to Alcatraz.
