Karwowski moved a car on their breakdown truck for me locally a few years ago for a reasonable price.

or if you're in no rush, I have used Shiply before to move an old car.

It works like eBay but in reverse: interested parties undercut each other for your job and you just pay the final price you accept - or non at all if you organise it yourself elsewhere. The guy I ended up using via Shiply lived in Preston.

There are several - just be sure you check out anyone who contacts you, prices can be very reasonable or outlandishly high depending on whether you get a local or a transient - a large number of which are computer savvy and en route to the area of Southport.
