Can anyone recommend a good dog boarding place in Southport?

Cannot emphasize strongly enough that you find someone to look after doggie in your home or theirs as opposed to a boarding kennel.

Took our Akita to a kennels while we went away in September,were worried she may fret or worry,as we have had her since 3 months old,and is now 4 years old,but there was no need,as she was well looked after,fed with her own food,which we took there,and they exercise your dog as well,take in something that you use,a blanket,or similar,with your scent on,and everything will be fine......We used a local kennels,details are ; Warren Farm Boarding kennels and Cattery 43 Crowland Street, Southport, PR9 7RL. PS ; Make sure that your dog is up to date with ANY injections,especially Kennel Cough,or a boarding kennels will NOT allow your dog to be boarded there.You will have to show proof of any paperwork to prove the inoculations are correctly up to date.

I take my dog Charlie to a young lady in Scarisbrick who is brilliant . Charlie's 10 yrs old and has 'separation anxiety' issues but he absolutely loves going there . There is also a 'dog motel' in Formby I also use and would have no reservations in recommmending either. PM me for details.

Formby boarding kennels, my dog actually doesn't mind going there. First class.

I have used Meresands in Rufford for years. My vet uses them for his dogs. They are also very reasonable cost wise.
