There is a petition requiring an Early Day Motion to be passed to lower the screening rates for bowel cancer to be lowered to age 50 from 60. 8 passed this onto our M.P. Damien Moore has refused to sign the petition for the early day motion on bowel cancer citing that a bowel screening test is being introduced in 2015 for age 55 and over and that cancer survival rates have never been higher.
