I'm going to Onkel Blaa in Bekkestua! They serve a good Guinness and a Guinness Nitro (?) IPA. If you're willing to pay 8 quid for a half litre. Things haven't got cheaper since you left.

I've just paid for 2 Guinness stout and 2 Guinness IPA. That cost me 38,50 pounds without tips. Don't think the bartender will be rich from tips.

This was a brewery in Stavanger when I lived there ! No longer exists !

I was recently in NYC, 2 Guinness, 1 IPA and a shandy $65 about £46 granted we were in the observation bar One World Trade Centre.

I’ve been told the recently rufurbished Dukes folly on Duke st is a great friendly place to watch football ⚽️

It's a few miles out, but the Rams Head in Longton is hard to beat. Good good too.
