Bats
Has anyone noticed bats in their area? I sit out in the garden in the evening and at dusk I watch them, beautiful sight.

Often see bats when out at night. But I got attacked a few days ago by a gang of starlings - almost put me off flying creatures altogether.

With the destruction of the Woods on George Drive I was concerned we had seen the last of the Bats. If anything there are more than ever, I suggest this is because there is less Habitation & the same amount of Bats are Hunting in a smaller area? Either way it's good to see the Bats, even if they aren't eating enough Mosquitos. I have three bad Mosquito bites on one side, done while I was sleeping I guess?
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms ... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants, they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

Not heard many crickets lately which points to the proliferation of Cricket Bats in the area.
