Are Momentum trying to oust Labour Councillors?

There have been a number of reports in the press recently accusing the Labour pressure group Momentum of forcing serving Labour councillors off the ballot paper for re-election in favour of their own candidates.

Sources close to Momentum argue they are simply helping to reflect the new make up of the Labour party.

With a bit of luck these pathetic Trots will make the Labour party completely unelectable and save the country from bankruptcy.

As the country is in a far worse state than it has ever been due to Tory incompetence, no-one can possibly make it worse.

Whatever makes you believe that one faction can take over any party, both Labour and Tories have their extreme groups and currently there appears to be far more divisions within the Tories than anyone else, if any one is unelectable might I suggest that the infighting amongst Tories is more likely to have that effect.

Just a thought, when we read that the Minister for Preservation of Victorian Britain is touted as a potential leader I think Tories would do well not to hope for Labour to become unelectable and look to their own total undesirability.

Yes - but there is more to it than that. Momentum became an organisation after the Labour leadership election in order to support Corbyn to become PM. Just after the leadership elections, Momentum were found to be lobbying Labour MP's with regard to the situation in Syria which annoyed some Labour councillors since Corbyn's views on Syria were not known at that time. During the last election in June 2017, Momentum engaged the services of an American based promotions company, Sanders - whose agent Erica Uyterhoeven introduced the questionable Phone Banking System - this is legal in the states but has varying levels of acceptance in Europe, the strongest opposition to this form of advertising is the UK. Momentum have in the past used additional Labour leaning parties to form an alliance in order to 'encourage' favourable voting. I refer to the NEC meeting in which two members suspended from the Labour Party were selected among six others as representatives. Also in 2017, Momentum were criticised for obstructing the Labour Party motion on Brexit. Although many will see Momentum as a support group of Labour, a greater number of people view Momentum as the engine of Labour, but with its own agenda.

Interesting! This is where the Grenfell Tower block was destroyed by fire. The Grenfell Tower Block was located on a site that was cited for redevelopment. The area is under Tower Hamlets Council. It is interesting to note that a Tower Hamlets Council representative (2003) was suspended for the fraud of £millions of Tax Payers money, and then was reinstated by Labour before being suspended again on a similar charge. Others remained suspended. in 2014, there was an investigation into Tower Hamlets with regard to postal voting fraud, and in 2017 another investigation into a top academy's examination fraud. The area of the Isle of Dogs has a white population of 26%.

Grenfell Tower is located in the West end of the city, under the Kensington & Chelsea Borough Council... which has always been under Conservative control. Tower Hamlets is in the East end of London.

Momentum are currently under investigation for their election spending.

Mohammad Lutfur Rahman British former solicitor and politician, who was the first directly elected mayor of Tower Hamlets, a Borough within London.

He was elected to this office in 2010 as an Independent, having previously been the leader of Tower Hamlets London Borough Council from 2008 to 2010 for the Labour Party. He was re-elected at the 2014 mayoral election, but the result of this election was declared null and void on 23 April 2015 when the Election Court officially reported Rahman to be "personally guilty" of "corrupt or illegal practices, or both" (electoral fraud) under the Representation of the People Act 1983.
He was thus removed from his office with immediate effect and was also personally debarred from standing for elected office until 2021.

Rahman is known to have associated with two convicted criminals; one convicted fraudster, the multi millionaire housing association resident Shiraj Haque and one convicted sex offender; Zamal Uddin.Rahman later apologised for providing a court character reference to Uddin stating that he had been misled by the defendant's family. In 2014, Rahman provided a "glowing" court reference to Mahee Ferdous Jalil, a convicted insurance fraudster who was subsequently sentenced to three years in jail.

Rahman cheated the rightful Labour councillor out of winning the Mayoral post.

Did you read your prime article? Momentum are under investigation, as yet guilty of nothing, the article also highlights previous misdemeanours in which Labour was fined £20,000, but your lovely law abiding Tories currently carry the UK record with a fine of £70,000 for electoral expenditure irregularities, hmmmm.

Don't approve of any political parties hiring "experts" to drive a campaign, but Tories would be well advised to keep their heads down when you look at some of the low lifes they have hired.

One question for all Tories, how many voted in the UK for the DUP?
yet who holds the balance of power in the UK Parliament? might I suggest you get your own house in order before fretting about someone else.

1.Momentum has already admitted "Much of the Electoral Commission investigation refers to a series of administrative errors that can be easily rectified".
I shall get back to you when the 'administrate errors' unravel.

2.I cannot understand why the far left chose an America firm when the Venezuela model was available.

3.That is a funny question old bean!
How many in the UK would vote for the IRA? That is what you would get with Corbyn....plus the other 'friends' Labour are promising to support in faraway places.
