Anyone just see that large 4 engine turbo prop plane?

Has one one seen the above mentioned plane flying low over Southport? Went over just a few minutes ago and was flying really low. Came over the old Homebase building and headed towards Churchtown.

I heard it but it was drowned out by the noise of a nearby bin lorry. probably going to Wharton fro repairs.

Warton don't work on big multi engine planes, may have been delivering Typhoon parts from the EU.

Saudi Airforce Hercs have been regular visitors over the years, recently there have been a number of freight charter airliners operating to Warton , including this Jumbo Jet on the 9th July https://www.airplane-pictures.net/re...n.php?p=OM-ACB

Earlier this year in the winter time I took an evening stroll out around town and turned a corner onto Lord street and I heard it before I saw it, and then I saw it and I couldn't believe it. It was a huge aircraft, 747 type of thing flying extremely low over Lord Street and out to sea.

When I arrived home I did a little research in a flurry of child-like excitement and disbelief. I looked on Flightradar and discovered it was indeed an aircraft freighter making a landing approach to Warton and I also learned that it was an African air cargo company. I won't forget that in a hurry. It was very cool!

It must be on it's way back to where it came from it has just flown over Churchtown heading towards Homebase.
