Anybody else fed up of reading about every tiny detail of the wedding
How much appetite is there really for a celebrity wedding out there ? Asking for a friend - I've never watched more than a few seconds of any royal wedding.

Nobody's forcing you to read about or watch it.
Just be yourself, no one else is better qualified!!

National media always goes well over the top on common articles from Reuter's - because there are no longer any real journalists to go out and find real news. That is why the UK continually gets all the American rubbish too!

Strictly speaking you're correct but, by covering this wedding ad nauseum, other news items, which are actually important, end up getting bumped.

Many (if not all) newspapers etc. make their money by devoting the front page to articles the majority want to read. Just turn the page!

Again - good advice but - I don't bother with the papers and consume my news via the TV or Radio - delivered by either the BBC or Channel 4 and yes, other news gets bumped because of this ruddy wedding!

Grovelling overkill. Had to turn to Sky News the other day because the BBC was dripping with it. Then they ran a very earnest piece about ethnic minority brides, as though they'd never witnessed a mixed race person before.
I'd happily sit knitting at the base of the guillotine, but even my 'Royalist' older relatives are starting to get wedding fatigue.
Not much escape on the main channels, and although Netflix has become worth every penny, it would be nice to watch the news without this cropping up.
But if Royal Weddings are your thing, I suppose you can lap up every minute of it.

Yeah! They seem to forget the rest of the Royal Family who are in other countries, married to various nationalities.

The press has been beastly to MM's extended American family.
I doubt they would have gone so far with a European or African.

The Royal family are part of our heritage, why slag them off . Ok the press due go over the top on these occasions but it's better than bloody politics . And there are lots of countries in this world that would die for our heritage. Let's rejoice at the wedding and wish the couple much happiness .
REST IN PEACE THE 96.
