    Unhappy Andrew Marr

On the Andrew Marr show this morning the 2 female journalists on first appeared brain damaged or severely handicapped, they could not string a sentence together without constantly repeating "umm umm umm
, err err err" it drives me mad. It occurs all the time with news reporters and journalists when they appear on tv, the tv companies are employing dummies!

Perhaps that's why they're not paid a mans wage?

    The same on Question Time.

Labour MP's on the panel always less articulate than Tory.

Not as well rehearsed or naturally gifted liars, more like.

Reality some Tories are extremely good at talking for hours, but saying nothing, overall I see little or no difference between any MPs when pressed and/or taken away from the official party line.

I most certainly would never think that Tory MPs are any more articulate, intelligent or better informed than anyone else, you're believing Tory arrogance again.

She was the best person to interview him. I find it laughable that a weak man like him would be the one teaching women how to be more assertive. I think he seems to think that the more he says men are stronger, more assertive and less agreeable (and therefore more successful) will make him appear a stronger male. He is so negative about women being able to achieve the same as men that I would question why any woman would go to him to help them improve their assertiveness. He doesn’t come across as assertive himself. Strong men don’t feel threatened by strong women and have no need to put women down. He seems to have concentrated his career on trying to prove that women can never be truly equal to men in their careers.

Cathy Newman was a joke. She had the usual idiotic approach that all the numbskull libtards have on C4/BBC/Sky. She showed herself incapable of thinking on her feet and displayed her complete lack of grasp of the difference between facts and feelings. Jordan was way too polite.

She was great. He kept coming out with complete nonsense and she did a great job in challenging his views.

So you're saying that you don't rate other Channel 4 interviewers, and you admit that you enjoy laughing at men; yet you believe that women need immediate help with being assertive, you question women being able to achieve the same as men and you're saying that strong men don't realise or feel the threats and abuse from strong women; and you insist that Peterson has concentrated on furthering his career to prove that women cannot further their career to a level equal to his standing, despite Cathy Newman being highly respected in her field.

Where did I say I enjoy laughing at men? I said I find it laughable that any woman would go to get lessons on how to be assertive from a weak man like him - not the same thing at all. I didn’t say I thought women needed help with being assertive at all - he says that he teaches women how to be assertive and how to negotiate. Once again you are saying things I did not even state - I said strong men don’t feel threatened by strong women - nowhere in that did I mention abuse. Since when has being strong meant that you had to be abusive? It means a strong character who doesn’t get pushed around easily (and I don’t mean physically) and has a mind of their own. It wasn’t about physical threats it was about not feeling threatened by women who are equally strong mentally. His response to Cathy Newman being in her position was that it was because she was less agreeable (as he says most women are more agreeable). He says “equal outcomes are not desirable” - I am sure many women would disagree. She quotes his book where he states “real conversations between men contain an underlying threat of physicality” - so men only get the top jobs or higher pay due to potential physical threats? What nonsense! Plenty of men who are not physically strong achieve high levels of success. There are women who are more agreeable, just as there are men who are more agreeable than some women. I have worked with and know lots of strong minded women and lots of men who are not, so I do not agree with his explanation.

He also states “men are not being taught to develop themselves” - why is it an us and them attitude from him? What about women?
He says women don’t want a competent partner as “you can’t dominate a competent partner” and women are “miserable having weak partners”.
He also asks why women would want to be in the top FTSE 100 Jobs and says the barrier to women getting these jobs is because “men are simply not going to rollover and say please take the position”.
Good grief, the man seems to have a terrible attitude towards women.

Mutual respect is needed from both men and women in business. If someone is capable of doing the job, their gender shouldn’t come into it.

I would add that I have always worked in businesses where at least 80% of the workforce were men and there was no barrier for me working my way up and I was always shown respect by the men. I can’t speak for all businesses of course.

Yes, that's a very difficult question to respond to, isn't it?

The UK now has very few reporters or journalists - the job title should be changed to Opportunists, people who make up stories to sell a a paper.
