She seems to be on a mission to give radical feminism a bad name. It was Cathy Newman who, among other messages, tweeted a couple of years ago, "Well I just visited Streatham mosque for #VisitMyMosque day and was surprised to find myself ushered out of the door..."
After released CCTV footage proved she wasn't ushered out of the door, she finally issued an apology, but never did care to explain why she mis-claimed she'd been "ushered out".
It's been commented that Cathy Newman's performance had viewers wondering if instead of being Jordan Peterson's interviewer she was in fact one of his patients. It did uncomfortably feel like one long stream of her projections fuelling her battery of misrepresentations.
Every "You're Saying" From Cathy Newman vs Jordan Peterson

Once again you are saying things I did not even state - I said strong men don’t feel threatened by strong women - nowhere in that did I mention abuse. Since when has being strong meant that you had to be abusive? It means a strong character who doesn’t get pushed around easily (and I don’t mean physically) and has a mind of their own. It wasn’t about physical threats it was about not feeling threatened by women who are equally strong mentally. His response to Cathy Newman being in her position was that it was because she was less agreeable (as he says most women are more agreeable). He says “equal outcomes are not desirable” - I am sure many women would disagree. She quotes his book where he states “real conversations between men contain an underlying threat of physicality” - so men only get the top jobs or higher pay due to potential physical threats? What nonsense! Plenty of men who are not physically strong achieve high levels of success. There are women who are more agreeable, just as there are men who are more agreeable than some women. I have worked with and know lots of strong minded women and lots of men who are not, so I do not agree with his explanation.
He also states “men are not being taught to develop themselves” - why is it an us and them attitude from him? What about women?
He says women don’t want a competent partner as “you can’t dominate a competent partner” and women are “miserable having weak partners”.
He also asks why women would want to be in the top FTSE 100 Jobs and says the barrier to women getting these jobs is because “men are simply not going to rollover and say please take the position”.
Good grief, the man seems to have a terrible attitude towards women.
Mutual respect is needed from both men and women in business. If someone is capable of doing the job, their gender shouldn’t come into it.
Some interesting questions and points.
In just a few paragraphs, there, you provided more thought-provoking challenges and potential insight than Cathy Newman managed in a near half-hour interview in which, as the supposed interviewer, she seemed to do a surprising amount of the talking.

Toxic environments, toxic climates, problematic positionality, epistemic violence, 18 year old adult students not having a critical toolkit, and neutrality as a problem.
A different and more common style of interview...

Certainly it is mystifying to hear that people are of the belief that she did well in the interview .
Jordan Peterson's thoughts on the interview,

She did, though, succeed in one aspect,

Also, I'm wondering why 'said', in post #15 on this thread, has 'Guest' status / non-status, not 'Registered User' status.
