Air show
Is it just me thinks the biggest draw for the air show is red arrows yet they only on tonight not sat or Sunday the next biggest draw is the typhoon which only the last display on Sunday. I think if was coming on sat and Sunday with kids I would be disappointed to spend so much money and the main attraction isn't on not everybody could get here for tonight to see them

Surely anyone that bothered would study the running order and come on the days the planes they particularly wanted to see were on.
If i wanted to see a Beyonce gig I wouldn't turn up on the night Ed Sheeran was performing.

Air Show
It's much better having it in Summer than in September or October when the weather could be a complete washout like it was in 2011. Started raining on the Saturday at 1.25pm and never let up once and then the Sunday was cancelled because it was still raining.

Would you book it on a school/work day, with the horrendous traffic not giving yourself enough time to travel there.
It's all well and good looking at the plan, booking time off work seems a bit steep. And children can't miss school, it's a criminal offence
It's all well and good if you live here, or work here, I have friends who work out of Southport and finish work at 6pm on a Friday, they can't be the ONLY people.
The red arrows are the main attraction, I shall be watching them from my front garden, as I always do, shame I can't do that for an Ed Sheeran gig lol
Sooner will a camel pass through a needle's eye than a great man be "discovered" by an election.

lol
And I'm quite sure plenty people finish work and school with plenty time to get here for a 7:30pm start.
If you expect every event to suit the tastes and working life of the entire population then nothing would get organised.

Events
It's like football matches in the normal league season. They start at 3pm on a Saturday as a rule and yet some people still have to work so, okay they'll miss out on maybe watching their favourite team but you can work around it or just skive off work and risk getting the sack.

What ???
I love the sunshine.
I'd gone out at 7 this morning for a razz round and done a bit of shopping along the way. Long may the sun continue.
As long as it doesn't rain next Sunday we'll have a long hot summer
