Lee and Jane ,plus helpers. do a terrific job running the Streets Ahead charity shop for Alder Hey. I feel so sad that some scumbag has made off with their van. I think everybody who visits the shop should make a small donation just to prove that some of us do care.

I've seen a Streets Ahead van around High Park, but not recently. I think it's a white transit van, with "Streets Ahead" written in large black letters, with some other writing. I'll keep a look out.

    Unhappy

The van was a Puegeot Boxer, Reg No: YT05 HFL. Lettering read: Streets Ahead [I]supporting[I] Alder Hey Children's Hospital Southport 01704 533377 Imagine it's long gone now though, stripped of it's lettering, plates changed, or it's burnt out somewhere!

You probably saw it whilst out on many deliveries & collections. It was stolen Sunday 5th August

It is a few weeks since I've seen it, but I don't think it was on deliveries or collections. It was parked up, I noticed it whilst taking my dog for a walk, and it was there on the way there and on the way back.

It was Warren Rd, at the junction with Tarleton Rd. I saw it around the same time on Devonshire Rd, and assumed it was in for repair as it was parked near the tile shop, very close to a local repair garage.

Years ago my daughter was on a day with school friends out to Albert Dock. They were all taken there in a minibus which had the name of the school on the side of it as well as donated by the Rotary Club etc., As well as the normal seats there were also the spaces and tracks in place for the wheelchair users and yet some scum still decided that it was fair game and stole it!

I hope they are in need of services themselves one day and then see if they can live with their conscience!

I really hope 'Streets Ahead' get their van back and hopefully with little damage so they don't have to go through their insurers.
