Here we go again! Will everyone in the Birkdale area take great care, ensure all doors and windows are closed and locked if possible, check on outbuildings, check on neighbours properties if they are away and report anything suspicious. There have been a number of Burglaries in the area over the past few days. I believe, though I am not totally sure - these have occurred at night.

With the greatest of respect, all of what you have posted should be every day activities for us. We shouldnt have to wait until it happens in our area before we look out for anything suspicious or lock our door, we should already be doing that.

my friends got broken in to last night, in birkdale village on liverpool road! police said there has been many in the area over the weekend. they did manage to recover a foot print though!
they got through the patio door, although strange they only took handbags and a few game, no tvs, or laptops. they left all the cupboards in the kitchen open b4 leaving.

There was another at a house on St Peter's Road at the liverpool road end (for those that don't know the road it is the first left after the post office when heading away from the station!)

my friends house was robbed couple of weeks ago on alma road.
