I recently accured these two beautiful heavy glass soda syphons.
Blue one....
Merchant & Co Southport Ltd 59 Shakespeare St. Southport, made in Bohemia.
Transparent one...
Nettleton & Woolley & Co Ltd Crystal Spring Table Water in silver lined syphons. Southport. British Syphon Co. Ltd London RD No 565191.

Do you think they are as old as Victorian and what do you think their value is please. I am not parting with them though, they look beautiful on my sunny windowsill .

Registered Number 565191 was Registered approx 1912

This does not mean the bottle was made then.
May be as late as the 1950

The Blue is an interesting colour and the Southport bottle may have local interest.

value I would not think would be more than £10 each

But remember the antique trade is just made up of people with an opinion, a bit like Qlocal.

remember local interest will demand a higher price .....

southport will add value to an item in southport or to someone with links to southport. but outside of the town little interst.

if you paid what you said, you did ok.

enjoy the item, that is what collecting is about.

thats why people do NOT collect Ikea, they just through it out.
