Hi I purchased these vases and would like help to identify the maker/date, if they are real or reproduction and possible value, they are 16 inches high.

Hi, They look real and what I mean by that . They are made in Japan prior to WW11, probably C1910-1930

They are Satsuma, a name given to items like this that where shipped out of the port Satsuma. I suppose it is like saying in England a vase is made in the potteries or made in Staffordshire.

Who made the vase I have no idea as items like this was made by hundreds of village factories and made in the millions. One of your vases seem to have a crack.

The better quality ones are hand painted and some with a one hair brush

In auction I would be surprised if they brought over £20 the pair.

In a church type antiques fair between £30 and £50.
