Dragon Geisha girl tea set
John my friend has a tea set comprising of a large tea pot, a smaller t-pot and she thinks a sugar jar, 6 cups. saucers & side plates in a dragon pattern that when you look through the fine china of the cup shows a geisha girls face. The large tea pot has the dragon nose broken off but she have the complete piece. Any ideas oh mystro of the Antiques world????

seen many of these before , they seem to date from 1900-1940 ish and many were brought back during the world war as presents.
in my experience they are very hard to sell , you will be lucky to get £40-£50 in a good auction.
p.s if you want johns attention you have to shine a light over southport city (like in batman)...but please wait for john's response ..

as it has been stated by briana5125 between 1930 to 1950
tourist items
everyone who went to sea brought one back for their mum or aunt.
some have Foreign printed on as a back stamp.
they sell in auctions for between £15 and £25
